Fridgeo

Food tracking with an AI chef

Cook what you have before it expires.

Fridgeo keeps track of the food in your fridge, freezer and cupboard. It shows what to use first, and plans meals around it and your protein and calorie goals.

Fridgeo's Today screen: the next step is lunch, a spinach and cheddar omelette, because the chicken expires today and the spinach tomorrow. Below it, progress towards the day's calories, protein and meals.

Everything you need, nothing you don't

One clear next step on the home screen, with the detail there when you want it.

Add food by photo or barcode

Scan a barcode and the product details fill in from Open Food Facts. Or take one photo of your shopping and add it all at once.

Just say what changed

Tap the mic and say "I bought milk and bread, and we finished the eggs". Fridgeo works out the changes, and you check them before anything is saved.

Know what to use first

Every item shows the date it expires, as a real date and not just "in 2 days". The food to use first sits at the top, with an icon as well as a colour.

An AI chef that plans around your food

The chef suggests meals that use up what expires soonest and fit your protein and calorie targets. It tells you why it picked each one.

Cook, and your stock updates

Follow the recipe one step at a time. When you finish, Fridgeo takes the ingredients you used out of your kitchen for you.

Hit your protein and calorie goals

Set a goal once. Today shows how many calories and grams of protein you have left, and the chef plans the rest of the day to match.

Pick the colours you like

Fridgeo comes in three colour themes. Try them here.

Today: the next meal to cook, why it was picked, and progress towards today's calories, protein and meals.
Today. One next step, and what's left for the day.
Kitchen: food grouped by fridge, freezer and cupboard. Each item shows roughly how much is left and when it expires, such as Today, Tomorrow or 9 days.
Kitchen. Your food by where it's kept, with what to use soon.
Talk it through: you say what changed, Fridgeo repeats back what it heard, and lists the changes to tick before saving.
Talk it through. Update your kitchen by saying what changed.
Chef: a plan to use the chicken and spinach today, with a spinach and cheddar omelette of 508 kcal and 42 g protein.
Chef. Meals planned around what needs using.
The Fridgeo web app on a computer: the fridge, freezer and cupboard side by side, with search, Talk it through and Add food at the top.
On a computer too. The web app shows your whole kitchen at once, and stays in sync with your phone.
Comfort and focus settings: colour themes, calm mode, food emoji, text size, focus mode and how many meal ideas to show at once.

Calm when you need it, focused when you want it

  • Calm mode switches to plain, muted colours with no animation and no shadows.
  • Focus mode shows only the next thing to do on the Today screen.
  • Fewer choices. Pick how many meal ideas you see at once, down to one.
  • Plain words and real dates. "Expires Mon 26 Oct", not "going off soon".
  • Larger text and an option to swap food emoji for simple icons.
